Rashmi Srinivasa

Rashmi, pronounced Rush-mee, is a Sanskrit word which means "ray of light."


Hello! I am a software professional working at 5AM Solutions Inc. in the health sciences/bioinformatics area. Previously, I've worked at Qovia Inc. on VoIP monitoring and management software. I have also worked at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre (a Harvard teaching hospital) on bioinformatics software, at Telogy Networks Inc. on networking software, and at Larsen & Toubro on application development software. I have MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Virginia's Computer Science Dept. Over the years, I have done extensive research and development in health sciences/bioinformatics software, concurrency control, distributed computing, distributed databases, mobile transactions, information retrieval and electronic journals.
